How to Center anything in Photoshop Tutorial

Step One:  To center the text in the middle of the canvas make sure your text layer is selected and then select the whole canvas by pressing shortcut CTRL+A or you can select whole canvas by using Rectangular Marquee Tool.  Then select the Move Tool and click on Align Vertical Centers ( to align text vertically in the center of canvas), Also  Click on Align Horizontal Centers ( to align text Horizontally in the center of canvas ). Check the snapshot below.

After –

so that was pretty easy simple and cool way to center your text in the center of canvas.

 

Now lets do it with another example.

lets do it with object (layer)
again all you have to do is to select your object layer then select the whole canvas by pressing shortcut CTRL+A or you can select whole canvas by using Rectangular Marquee tool and select Move Tool and click on Align Vertical Centers and Align Horizontal Centers.

Now again let’s do it with another example.

What if you want to center text/object to the middle of rectangle or box.
again all you have to do is to select your Text/object layer then CTRL+Click on the rectangle layer (as u move your courser over the rectangle layer, you will see there is a square shape will appear on the courser and with that shape you just click on it) and your rectangle (shape) will be selected.

now select text/object layer and again do the same steps don’t forget the steps, Select Move Tool and click on Align Vertical Centers and Align Horizontal Centers to center it.

So this all are pretty easy and simple to center your text in the center of canvas.
