Vray Rusted Gold Material Tutorial | Realistic Rusted Gold Vray

Today we learn about Vray Rusted Gold Material Tutorial. Learn to create Vray Rusted Gold Material in 3ds max and v-ray by following some basic and simple steps as given below.

Step 1: Select object’s on which you want to assign Vray Rusted Gold Material. Then open material editor by Pressing shortcut M). Then click on standard option and Select VRayMtl from the list and assign it to your objects.

Step 2: Now apply this Setting’s for Vray Rusted Gold Material.

Put the Gold diffuse texture into Reflect parameter also drag and drop same Gold diffuse texture into RGlossiness (download the texture from link below)

Set the Subdivs to 8(increasing subdivs can give u batter output but it will increase render time too)

Set the Max depth to 5

Turn on Fresnel reflections and click on L to change Fresnel IOR value and set the value between 20 to 30

Now Scroll down and Go to Maps – put the Rusted Gold Bump Texture into Bump parameter and set bump parameter value to 10 or you can set the value according to your requirement.
( Remember higher value will give you higher bump effect) (download bump texture from link below)

Also I renamed the material name to Rusted gold2
